Day 10 - look out of your window

I'm taking it easy for a couple of days.. So here are my photos for today, including black

Day 09 - Face

What a day! This year is getting worse rather than better... Tonight I got a phone call from CJ saying he's at the police station... He got threatened to be stabbed unless he hands over his phone! Now one face I would like to get hold of is the little punk's who did that to my kid! Luckily the police apprehended a "male fitting the description" and are pretty confident it is him. Despite this, I took a couple of minutes out and quickly took a photo for today's words.

Day 08 - White

Well, here we are on day 8 and things aren't looking much better... But at least I'm taking my photos and keeping up with that!!! 

Today I waited patiently for Dom's chef whites to be clean and dry :) not the best or creative of photos... But he got a merit in his exam so worth making a note of! 

And as a bonus... I give you something green as well... Meet Carl the fire belly toad

Day 07 - clouds

I'm early for once... And that even with CJ's birthday happening as well. It is weird to have teenager's birthdays.. Kids parties are exhausting but sooo much more fun... And you get a whole shed load of presents for a fraction of the price!!! Anyway we took the birthday boy out for a lovely lunch at Cosmo. The sky was a uniform grey, so I had all but given up on catching clouds for today's prompt... But a window of opportunity presented itself once we got home, clear blue sky and fluffy white clouds

                                 

                

Day 06 - Straight

Ok I know I'm pushing it here... But the last couple of days have been tough, so I'm letting myself off with just taking a photo each day and not over thinking my own prompts. 

This was our dinner straight out of the oven tonight:

Day 05 - Touch

I know its the 6th but I just wasn't up to blogging yesterday... I did take my photo though!! Actually I took TWO so I have one for a toaster day :) or my first one for the Lucky7 challenge. 

Our dailysnappers word was: Touch

And all day I found myself touching lots o things but in the end it was Becks demanding a pat that won

And for the toaster or lucky7 photo... My new(ish) watch to remind me that I will take some time out for myself each day... Where I just do what I want to do

Day 04 - One

I know it's technically already day 5 but I don't want to fall behind on my first week back in 2014... So here is my ONE photo

Day 03 - Ice

Wow... this was a tough word!!!! Especially when WINTER in the UK means lots of rain, lots and lots of water falling out of the sky. It was almost a "toaster" or "free pass" day, but luckily inspiration just struck in the form of our freezer!! There, lurking in ONE drawer, was a tiny bit of ice!!!!

Day 02 - Colourful

It's only the 2nd of January and I'm struggling to keep up :D

We have a rather haphazard collection o colourful mugs... Nothing coordinates in my mug cupboard and I have given up buying matching mugs as we always manage to break them. 

Daily Snappers 2014: Day 01 and a summary of December

I surprised myself last night when i actually completed another year of photo taking... i did "cheat" for a few months, when i had missed prompts and life just wasnt very kind, but looking at my finished monthly pages, i am glad i did it!

So, here is my December 2013 (am i glad that is the last time i have to write that date!!!!)

And for 2014, I have started a brand new challenge.. it is all still very much a work in progress, but the blog works, the facebook group is growing and we are on instagram and twitter too!!!

The first day of photo taking is afoot... i hope we get some more of our 365+1 friends on board.. ive missed you ladies!!!

Here is my photo for today. A new, blank calendar always fills me with hope... that it will have many happy entries going into it for the year, that it means to draw a line under the old year and that things WILL get better.
